Pokemon Sun and Moon Hidden Machines Have Been Removed

Pokemon Sun and Moon demo data mining appears to continue, with the new video from YouTuber Kaphotics showing some exciting discoveries for the longtime fans. Based on the uploaded video, different moves and item data are highlighted, including the Hidden Machines that have been removed.

The Pokemon Sun and Moon Hidden Machines have long been causing difficulties to the trainers, given its irreversible and highly specific nature. The moves such as Strength, Surf and Cut are reported to require travel throughout the world to complete the puzzles. But some players believe that teaching a Pokemon some Hidden Machines would mean committing them to it for a long period. This is in contrast to regular Technical Machines, which only needs the Move Deleter  to remove one of the special attacks.

Pokemon Sun and Moon new demo also suggests a likely replacement for these moves. Reports indicate that trainers may now ride specific Pokemon around the overworld, which means having them registered into a special device to allow them to be called up at will.

Moreover, the demo allows roaming around in the back of Tauros that comes with the special feature Tauros Charge. Rather than spend both a slot in the Pokemon party and moveset, summoning Tauros to break through boulders should be done instead. Pokemon Sun and Moon is set to release on Nov 18.

Meanwhile, Pokemon Sun and Moon's Popplio was not chosen as a favorite starter by some gamers when asked by Kotaku. Based on the response, game producer Junichi Masuda and game director Shigeru Ohmori revealed some plans on choosing first for the new generation. Masuda said he is likely to choose Litten, given the fire feline's popularity among the fans. On the other hand, Ohmori chooses Rowlett.

As for the Pokemon Sun and Moon backlash against Popplio, Ohmori believes that the water starter was cute and that it will be popular with a number of people. The director further explained that Pokemon Popplio has a defense squad, in spite of the many things some players are saying for not liking the design, such as its femininity.
