NBA 2K17 Starts PlayStation Tournaments Launched By Sony

 Fans of NBA 2K17, whether physical basketball players or digital ones, can hardly keep their excitement as Sony launched the said tournament. Partnering with the most known eSports company, ESL, Sony launched the NBA 2K17 with high expectations. With the Playstation Tournaments, PS4 player can join and compete in these competitions which are organized by the partner company, ESL.

Using the application for PS4 or the ESL play, people who want to join the tournament can easily access and take advantage of the interaction features by the mentioned applications. The Playstation Tournament will start from October 27 to November 26 and will use the most played game, NBA 2K17 as the platform for the tournament.

The first competition that will take place in North America will have major rounds every Saturday and the top three winners of the tournaments will receive prizes and awards such as brand new Playstation gear and DualShock 4 and more. After the NBA 2K17 tournament, more games will follow with the likes of Mortal Kombat X and Project Cars.

For players to compete in these tournaments, one must have an eligible and legal copy of the game, a linked ESL account which you will be required to make and a PlayStation Plus Membership. As of the moment, Sony can only support 1 versus 1 tournament but they are doing their best to increase the size in order for them to cater to a bigger audience.

The company encourages players from nearby countries hosting these tournaments to join and participate. Marcel Menge of ESL mentioned that he is incredibly excited for them to offer this tournament and be able to bring competitive gaming to the world so that players can have an environment to focus their gaming skills on. Both companies wished that this tournament will be a trailblazer for more PlayStation Tournaments to come.

PS4 players in Europe can already pre-register for the FIFA 17, WRC 5, project Cars and of course, the NBA 2K17 tournament. How about you? Are you competing?
