WWE News: ‘Elimination Chamber’ To Return On February; Three Legendary Superstars Will Comeback In The Next Months

The latest WWE rumors center on the return of an iconic event and a few known wrestling names. Reports suggest that the "Elimination Chamber" will make its triumphant comeback next year along with three legendary superstars.

The "Elimination Chamber" has been one of those iconic structures that the WWE has concocted in recent years. It is a notch lower than the Steel Cage Match but much higher than let's say the Punjabi prison. The Elimination Chamber quickly became one of the most exciting yet fearsome matches the company has ever created.

The Elimination Chamber Event has been a company staple every February since 2010. It served as a good break between two major pay-per-view with the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.

But the company decided to ditch the "Elimination Chamber" event this year for then unknown reasons. But Stephanie McMahon, the daughter of the owner of the company, has recently stated in an interview that this was due to logistical problems with the Chamber Structure.

But it looks like the WWE has a change of heart as it released a list of WWE pay-per-views for 2017. And you guessed it, the "Elimination Chamber" is back in its original February slot.

And the good news does not stop there, as three WWE legends are rumored to make their comeback or at least give an appearance in the future.

Bubba Ray Dudley, known as one-half of the "Dudley Boyz" posted a message on twitter which says "Remember the Alamo." This is not so cryptic message might be a hint towards an appearance at the 2017 Royal Rumble Event which will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas.

Another wrestler who might make his surprise return is Adam Rose who fans might remember as getting suspended for violating the WWE's wellness policy twice. This might come as a surprise to WWE people as Adam Rose was not exactly happy about his release from the company. When asked in an interview if the WWE tried to reach out to him after he tried to defend himself against the allegations, he responded by saying:

"I never heard one single word from anyone. But I knew what I was doing when I released that doctor's note, I knew the likely outcome and implications and accepted them! I think the Wellness Policy is a great thing and absolutely needed. Just take a look at the mortality rate of pro wrestlers of the past, I totally get it. WWE has done an amazing job of making sure that doesn't ever happen again. But I think in some cases, my case included, they jumped the gun for whatever reason."

Well, stranger things have happened in the Pro Wrestling world. If Bret Hart could forgive the WWE and do some shows for them, so could Adam Rose.

The last wrestler making the rumor rounds for a possible return is the "Boogeyman." The rumor stems from the fact that the wrestler has been declining a lot of offers from the independent circuit which leads others to speculate that a WWE return could be in the works.

Catch the "Elimination Chamber" event sometime in February 2017.
