WWE Rumors: Former 5-Time Intercontinental Champion And King Of The Ring Winner Is About To Return

In any career or specifically in sports, comebacks are not that easy. You have to have a laser-like focus and be physically fit prior to returning.

There are numerous superstars who tried going back to the spotlight but most of them failed. They failed not because they lost the spark or love of the game but physically and mentally they just can't do it anymore. One of the most famous comebacks in history of sports is when Michael Jordan decided to lace them up again. With just only two words " I'm Back" , he made the headlines and returned stronger than ever.

Today, former WWE Superstar is rumored to return in the squared circle. He was released by the company last summer due to his request. This former heel champion is good on either brands. He exemplified his in-ring capabilities and his brilliance in the mic. The former Intercontinental champion and King of the Ring Winner is said to be on hiatus only. The wrestler tried to pursue his acting career and putting up some business.

The Superstar I'm pertaining to is none other than Wade Barrett. Barrett is already considered as a veteran in WWE. He first made his impact when he led the Nexus against the entire WWE, specially John Cena. Barrett is also the very first winner of NXT Season one. The first season of NXT produce multiple superstars who made their names in WWE. Daniel Bryan was part of the original NXT and the one man rock band and one half of the WWE smackdown tag team champions Heath Slater was also a part of it.

When Barrett left WWE, a lot of speculations states that the Wrestler from England is set to join TNA, WWE's main competition. However, Barrett is a smart man and he doesn't want to be part of the on going issues of TNA. TNA right now is on the rocks due to financial issues and creative issues. Thus, helping Barrett decide easily.

Various reports and friends stated that his in ring return is eminent. He also voiced out that he is interested in returning to WWE once he is finish with his personal agenda. A feud with the intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler is a great way to set Barrett's return. It is not the first time that the two charismatic wrestlers will face together. Also in the mix is, him joining Raw. He has still unfinished business with the two remaining members of League of Nations, Sheamus and Rusev.

Barrett is a great heel but can also be a popular face. Remember the time when he was presented by WWE as heel in his Bad News Barrett character but people loved him instead of hating him? When he faced Rey Mysterio and the master of 619 was booed out of the building every time he makes his move against Barrett. Barrett has that persona and charisma that can captivate you when he starts talking.

Also, since Halloween is just around the corner, WWE's resident creature feature Boogeyman will appear on some live shows. This is another strategic way to hype up the fans in the in coming Halloween season and Halloween specials of WWE.
