iPad Mini And iPad Pro 2016 Snubbed At Apple October Event: Release Date Rumors

Apple's latest hardware event was practically MacBook Pro centered. While previous rumors suggested the possibility of new iMacs and iPads, none of these devices made an appearance at the company's October 27 event. Needless to say, it doesn't mean that they will no longer show up. There's a good chance that a Mach 2017 Apple event will be held for the unannounced devices.

A new iPad Mini and a new iPad Pro are both anticipated devices from Apple. However, since they were a no-show this October, it's safe to say that Apple is holding them back for a March release. Take note that last March, the company released an iPad Pro and an iPhone SE so March can be a viable expected release month for new iPads.

Apple iPad Mini And iPad Pro 2017 Rumors

Since no new iPads were showed off this month, a 2017 release is highly likely. However, the question right now is which iPad will make an appearance next year. While a new iPad Mini is already long overdue, there have been rumors saying that the next iPad Pro will include an iPad Pro Mini, making the classic iPad Mini no longer necessary.

Needless to say, rumors should always be taken lightly unless Apple gives people a solid hint. What's certain right now is that only the Apple laptops are given a refresh this month. iPad fans might just have to settle with the latest Apple iPad released last March.

Apple Devices Bound For 2017 Release

Apart from the snubbed iPad and iMac, the iPhone 8 is also expected to get launched next year. Mac Rumors said that there could be three premium iPhone 8 devices coming up in 2017. All of which is likely to come with an all-glass body.

Apple has consistently followed up on their iPhone line year after year. However, the company hasn't confirmed the iPhone 8's release date just yet. So while a September release is still highly likely, next year could be different. 2017 marks the iPhone's 10th birthday so it won't be a surprise if Apple decides to mix things up a bit for a change.
