Pokemon Go has been rocking the mobile gaming world for several months now. The augmented reality game from Niantic has recorded 500 million downloads on Play Stores as to date and currently taking back the number one spot on the rankings. In addition, one of the main goals of Pokemon Go is to go out and catch Pokemon. However, some players find it so hard to complete the PokeDex since there are several Pokemon that are yet to be added on the game.

Aside from the legendary Pokemon, it seems like there is still one creature that it yet to be found in the game. Based on the previous evidence, the transforming Pokemon Ditto is still currently not available. Based on the report from Otakukart, it is possible that Niantic is saving this Pokemon for an event or they are still on the process of discovering how to program Ditto's unique ability and apply it to the game. It was expected that Niantic will introduce Ditto in a unique way to justify the long wait for the players.

One theory of introducing Ditto that Niantic might consider is through other Pokemon. For instance, a player had encounter a Rattata and that player successfully captured the said Pokemon and would surprisingly turned into Ditto. It will also be applicable to other common Pokemon such as Pidgey or Weedle. However, rare Pokemon spawns should be exempted or perhaps have a lower chance of being a Ditto since fans would be upset if ever they encounter a Dragonite and it would just turned into a Ditto.

Based on the report, it was also suggested that Niantic should take the next step of creating identification of the mimic Pokemon such as its dot eyes and thin mouth which resemble the ones seen on the anime. In that way, players will know if they have encountered Ditto and could decide which Pokeball they should use in order to catch this unique Pokemon.
