Dota 2 News: Team Secret Changes Its Official Roster Once Again; Shocks Escape Gaming Fans

After the unsuccessful run following the post-TI6 reshuffle that Team Secret has undergone, it's clear that an imminent roster change is underway. Although the change didn't come as a surprise, it made a huge shock after announcing that the team is dropping Lee 'Forev' Sang-don to acquire Escape Gaming's offlaner, Maurice 'KheZu' Gutmann.

New Roster of Team Secret

In their official Twitter account, Team Secret has announced their new roster and welcomed the former offlaner of Escape Gaming, KheZu. Most of the fans were saddened by the departure of Forev considering the fact that he's one of the top tiered players in Korea and has done some significant changes in the team, making clutch plays that have turned some dire situations around. In fact, Forev is currently sitting at the number 4 spot in the European division of the MMR Leaderboards, having an astounding 8818 Solo MMR.

In contrast, KheZu has been met with mixed criticisms in the past. Fans are now even questioning the logic behind the acquisition of the new offlaner as most of them deem KheZu to be the weakest link of the current roster. In the comments section in GosuGamers, you can see how dismayed most of the fans are after the sudden departure of the former MVP Phoenix player.

Team Secret and Escape Gaming

The recent announcement has affected Escape Gaming more than Team Secret as fans from the former are now asking as to what happened to the "friendship" which was frequently talked about in the team's numerous interviews. KheZu's sudden abandonment was as much of a shock to the fans as to his former teammates that the organization itself has yet to release an official statement with regards to the new roster change to fill in the vacant slot. As for his official teammate, Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen has posted an official tweet bidding farewell to his former teammate:
