Dota 2 News: Meet The Faces Behind Faceless

A new rising SEA Dota 2 team is currently rampaging in various Asian tournaments, winning almost all of their games flawlessly and now holds an astonishing 24-1 record across all competitive tournaments that they have partaken. The team may sound new but the faces behind the organization are actually long-time Dota 2 Pro players. In order to fully understand the potential of this team in the upcoming Boston Major, let's take a look at the faces behind Team Faceless.

Dota 2 Team Faceless

As mentioned earlier, Dota 2 Team Faceless currently holds 24-1 in their competitive run ever since its official creation and has successfully toppled down the current SEA giants namely Execration, Fnatic and MVP Phoenix. Faceless was first rumored upon iceiceice's announcement of returning to Singapore after the TI-6 reshuffle where he has been dropped from the EHOME roster. After a short while, iceiceice together with Black^ officially announced their new Dota 2 lineup which is comprised of veteran SEA players namely: xy-, Jabz and NutZ.

Iceiceice - One of the prominent names in the Dota 2 scene is Darly Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang, a veteran player that has been playing across numerous teams worldwide and has been competing in several major Dota 2 tournaments including The Internationals. He is currently the offlaner or position 3 of Team Faceless.

Black^ - Another prominent name in the Dota 2 scene is Dominik "Black^" Reitmeier. Black is known as the "World Traveller" for having played across all competitive regions: Europe, North America, China and Southeast Asia. He is currently the hard carry for Team Faceless.

Jabz - The new rising midlaner for Team Faceless is Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong. Jabz spent his entire Dota 2 career playing for Signature.Trust before moving to Team Faceless.

Nutz - Wong "NutZ" Jeng Yih is the 5th position player for Team Faceless. He played a role as a couch for MVP Phoenix in The International 2016.

Xy - Toh "xy-" Wai Hong is the 4th position player for Team Faceless. He started his Dota 2 career together with iceiceice and one of the lead stars in the Dota 2 movie, Free to Play, hyhy in Scythe Gaming. After the disbandment of the team following post-TI 1, Xy moved to Team Zenith before finally joining Team Faceless.
