How To Acquire The Clever Dragon

The Clever Dragon could be acquired as a reward for finishing matches. However, getting this particular pulse rifle via loot drops will largely depend on the player's RNG luck. Getting the Clever Dragon from a vendor is probably the best way to get one.

The Clever Dragon seller is Lady Efrideet and she is currently located on top of Felwinter Peak. The Rolls that the vendor offers is worth the purchase. The Perk Tree is divided into three columns in which Destiny players can choose an option for each column.

For the Clever Dragon, players can either choose Perfect Balance or Braced Frame in the first column. The second offers Snapshot or Casket Mag while the third can either be Counterbalance or Life Support. A Clever Dragon assigned with Perfect Balance, Snapshot and Counterbalance will have a quick reload but little recoil. Alternatively, players can choose the Braced Frame in the first column. But they should always include Counterbalance in their configuration since this is necessary for pulse rifles such as the Clever Dragon. However, this is a matter choosing the best configuration will always depend on the Destiny player's choice and style.

Other Rolls & Configurations To Choose From

Those who prefer a longer range will have to acquire the Hammer Forged first before they can add it to the rifle's first column. Smallbore offers a compromise between longer range and stability but will take longer to reload. Players will have to make do with smaller magazine size.

Instead of Snapshot or Casket Mag, players can choose to find and use Quickdraw. This second column option makes it quicker for snipers who want to switch to the Clever Dragon to finish off a target.
