The Uncharted 4 patch 1.17 just went live, bringing some fixes to the multiplayer mode. In particular, the issues in the Ranked Team Deathmatch mode that cause headaches to players should now be fixed, thanks to the update.
Uncharted 4 Patch 1.17 Improves Multiplayer
There was an issue wherein the players' Trials & Ranked progress were lost, but this should now be fixed by the Uncharted 4 patch 1.17. It should also fix an issue in the Leaderboard, according to the patch notes. The Classic Mode statistics were being counted towards the regular TDM Leaderboards, but this should not be the case. Hopefully, players will be ranked accurately after this update.
Moreover, players should now be unable to hear other players' microphone even before a Ranked Team Deathmatch. Lastly, the Uncharted 4 update should patch the unresponsiveness of some menu screens when HDR is toggled on. Aside from these improvements on the multiplayer experience, there are no other issues that were fixed.
Uncharted 4 Classic Mode Delayed
Meanwhile, the next Uncharted 4 Classic Mode testing period has been delayed, GameSpot reported. It was previously set to go live on Nov. 11, but now fans have to wait a few days more. Due to issues in the "profile progress," Naughty Dog has decided to delay it until Nov. 18.
The first testing period went live on Nov. 3 and features a "back-to-basics mode that focuses on core combat and movement." Weapons spawn throughout the map and will not need to be unlocked, contrary to regular play. There are no objects such as radars or mystical items as well as an in-match store.
The early look into the Uncharted 4 Classic Mode is looking pretty good so far, but the final version should be free of any bug or issue for players to fully enjoy this new offering. Uncharted 4 is an exclusive title invPlayStation 4. Meanwhile, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is going to be sold at $14.99 during Best Buy's Black Friday 2016 deals.
