NBA Trade Rumors: Warriors Trading Klay Thompson To Celtics For Crowder and Bradley?

Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors can't seem to get these NBA trade rumors off his back. Recent rumors say that he is being traded by his team to the Boston Celtics. It seems that the Warriors would like to exchange him for Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley. Steve Kerr has persistently denied these rumors. But why are they still coming up?

Will It Benefit The Warriors If They Trade Thompson?

Thompson is a type of player that any team will like to retain or acquire. So, the question is: will the Warriors benefit if they will exchange Thompson with the likes of Bradley and Crowder. Or will it be better for them to retain him in the team?

It seems that the recent NBA trade rumors were sparked by a report from NESN that said Golden State would consider trading Thompson. The rumors were even encouraged by a report from Brian Saclabrine of CSN New England when he suggested that the Celtics might be the other party interested in acquiring Thompson. He added that in exchange, Boston is willing to give up Crowder and Bradley.

It is not too long after the rumors spread that Steve Kerr, the Warriors coach, vehemently denied that they are putting up Thompson on the trading block. Some say the pronouncement of Kerr is just what can be expected of him. But NBA trade rumors centering around Thompson still persists.

Rumors Say The Sacramento Kings Are Also Interested

Other NBA trade rumors also suggest that the Sacramento Kings are interested in acquiring Thompson. It seems that the Kings are willing to let go of DeMarcus Cousins in exchange for Thompson. A report from Real Sport 101 indicated that the Kings are looking to trade Cousins.

The report added that his likely destination could be the Golden State Warriors. Another report from Headlines & Global News indicated that there are ongoing discussions between the Kings and the Warriors over a possible exchange between Thompson and Cousins. So, there it is - Klay Thompson seems to really be on the trading block.
