Pokemon Go Update: How Will Trading System Affects The Game?

Pokemon Go Trading System feature has been brought out lately along with several rumors of a possible date of release. Though Niantic previously confirmed the arrival of the feature, the release date is still questionable as of now. Currently, Pokemon Go trainers evaluate the possible effect on the game if this Trading feature will be added soon.

According to the report from Otakukart, the trading feature has been the norm of every Pokemon games. It has been one of the major features in the series. However, Niantic has not yet applied the said feature in their augmented reality game yet. Surprisingly, some people thinks that Trading System will bring lots of negativity to the game despite it being a useful feature and will be able to connect players from each other.

Based on the report, there are several reasons why these people do not like trading to be added. First, it will enable players to complete their PokeDex much sooner compared to the others who have already filled theirs prior to trading. Next, it is possible for high level trainers to start selling their Pokemon and make a money out of it. Lastly, though it has a bit of positive side, however, some players may still think it is a bit of negative. When low-level players are given Pokemon by their high-level friends to level up faster, this might make levelling up unnecessary since you can just trade for high level Pokemon instead.

On the other hand, the Trading System also brings some positive to the game such as knowing several Pokemon trainer in your neighborhood or when you go overseas, you will also have a chance to trade for those region-exclusive Pokemon.

In general, it is not clear if high-level trainers will trade their strong Pokemon to a bunch of low-level commons, which most low-level trainers owned. However, if ever you have a low-level friend or someone related and you are both on the same team, it is reasonable enough to help them as it promotes teamwork.
