Leonard Cohen's Cause Of Death Revealed; Music Legend Died In His Sleep?

A lot of music enthusiasts were saddened with music legend Leonard Cohen's death last week. The 82-year-old's manager has now broken the silence on the cause of his death and shed some light on how he passed away.

News reports claim that the songwriter's manager, Robert B. Kory, has revealed that Cohen died during his sleep following a fall in the middle of the night of Nov. 7. The update on his passing has given his supporters a touch of comfort when they were reassured that his death was sudden, unexpected and peaceful.

The Canadian songwriter had a private funeral in Montreal where his kids, Adam and Lorca, along with his grandchildren Cassius, Viva and Lyon, said their last goodbyes to the musician. Famous friends and stars have also paid a tribute to Cohen.

Adam, his son, shared that the deceased singer was lowered into the ground in an unadorned pine box next to his father and mother as per his request. Also, Adam shared a Facebook post that reflected his father's great qualities and work.

As per reports , the music legend spent a lot of his time in creativity before his death. He was working on several projects in addition to the previously released album "You Want It Darker." Patrick Leonard, a producer and writer who had worked closely with the music legend, relays the message that Cohen wanted to use his time productively so he can finish the work that he was good at and devoted to.

Leonard also went on to say that at the time of Cohen's death, some great pieces of music were in the works. An album of string arrangements and another one with Rhythm and Blues inspired songs were said to be in progress.

Though the singer and songwriter left some work unfinished, reports claimed that he might have known about his nearing end  as a letter to his former lover dropped hints of him talking about it. Cohen left his signature in the music industry and all of his supporters can just find happiness knowing that the musician had a peaceful demise.
