'The Last Of Us' Movie Update: Why Production Haven't Started Yet, Game Of Thrones Actress Tapped To Play The Character

Fans were excited when they heard the news that the massive gave "The Last Of Us" will have its movie adaptation. However, after a year and a half, finally we have an answer.

The Last Of Us Game

If you haven't heard or played the game The Last Of Us, let me grab the opportunity to introduce to you this massive game. The Last Of Us game is about survival. An action adventure horror video game developed by one of the most recognized developers, Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game is amazing and that is why they created its second installation, "The Last Of Us 2".

The game itself is very addictive. Players have variety of ways and options on how to survive the zombie apocalypse. If you want to go toe to toe with the zombies, there are a lot of weapons to chose from, and you can even create your own weapon. However, if you are conserving energy and want to trick those zombies, you can ran away from them or use stealth mode.

The Last Of Us Movie

The Last Of Us Movie was talked about since last year of April. We were patiently waiting about the development of the said movie. It was even reported that "Game of Thrones" actress Maisie Williams was considered to play the role of Ellie. This perfectly suits her character but sorry to disappoint everybody as they already confirmed that the movie will not happen. Due to the distinctive differences between Sony and Naughty Dog, they decided not to push through with the movie.

In a recent interview, here's what they producers have to say, "...right now [The Last of Us] is just sitting there. They don't want to move forward, and it's not my place to say why, and Neil, I think, is in a slight disagreement with them about how things should go so there's a standstill. And I don't have the power to move it,"
