The Pokemon franchise has now seven generation of Pokemon following the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon. Apparently, Niantic's augmented reality game Pokemon Go only features the first generation to date. Generation 2 update has been actively rumored in the past few weeks and released a max CP chart. Currently, some dedicated fans have managed to calculate the minimum and maximum CP for all generation which includes the seventh gen.
According to the report from Otakukart, it seems too early for the leakage on future generations considering that generation 2 has not been officially released on Pokemon Go yet. However, Pokemon Go's Reddit forum called The Silph Road managed to release a full CP chart for all generation. Based on the report, several Pokemon Go fans expressed their excitement on witnessing the addition of Pokemon past generation 2.
Some sources said that many of the fans have little information regarding generation 2 onwards. It may perhaps be either they stopped watching the series or they have not been able to play the recent games. Moreover, fans who commented on the recent post show their support and excitement for Pokemon Go's future Pokemon addition.
As it was discovered, that Pokemon from earlier generations will lose their significance whenever a new set of Pokemon will arrive, unless they will have an extended evolution such as Eevee or Charizard. Eevee has been known as an active Pokemon in every generation since it brings a new set of evolution every time. However, it seems like Eevee did not receive an evolution with the current generation. Nonetheless, it is expected that the said Pokemon from generation 1 will still receive an evolution soon.
Overall, it is exciting to see how Niantic plays with the introduction of these generations of Pokemon in Pokemon Go.
