Fomantis is said to be the Totem Pokemon of Akala Island's Lush Jungle so players heading to this area should be ready to face it. According to players that have encountered it, Fomantis should be somewhere near the shaking trees of the Jungle. Others also claim they found Fomantis in Melemele Island's Route 5. Once players have encountered Fomantis, it is recommended to have a Pokemon with a False Swipe move in their party. This move makes it easier for any trainer to catch a wild Pokemon as it will never drain a Pokemon's HP to zero.

How to Evolve Fomantis to Lurantis in 'Pokemon Sun and Moon'

In the game, the player must level up Fomantis up to level 34 to get it to evolve to Lurantis. Once it has reached the right level, make sure the happiness is maxed and it is daytime to trigger the evolution. The hardest part in evolving Pokemon is keeping it happy until it's ready for evolution, fortunately, there is an easy way to maintain its happiness. Players just need to alternate the use of two TMs wherein every use gets the Pokemon happiness bonus.
