Clash of Clans and Clash Royale might be the biggest mobile MMO strategy video game ever created in history. Supercell was able to hit the jackpot when they released Clash of Clans then followed it up with Clash Royale who is enjoying the same success.
Clash Of Clans And Clash Royale’s Cultural Impact
This is not the first time that you’ll hear these two massive games. They broke every numbers in the record books when it comes to mobile gaming and they are here to stay. Supercell made it a point that when it comes to gaming innovation, they are on top of the list. It was reported earlier this year that they have the highest rating and sales for the past 3 years. They are considered as a pioneer already in mobile MMO gaming. Some of the fans feared that Clash of Clans and Clash Royale might be shut down due to the emergence of Pokemon GO. However, supercell was able to hold its ground.
Clash-A-Rama Comedy Series
Supercell and some of the producers of the YouTube series was very hesitant when they introduced the idea of creating a series for the massive game. One of the producers said, “the game’s success is very hard to follow up, but like any other series, we are going all in.” Although the name of that producer was not identified, many fans believed that claim. Going back to the YouTube series, they already released two episodes. The first one received positive feedback and the second episode was better as per critiques.
Clash-A-Rama will focus on comedy alone for the meantime. The series will display the same characters that are present on the game. They will also showcase spells and attributes of each character so that the fans of the game can relate more about the series. However, in a stunning event, the producers of the show revealed that their main target would be new audiences. They want to expand their franchise and will take risk to attract new viewers.
University Of Goblin
The first episode of Clash-A-Rama titled University of Goblin started okay. They were able to deliver to the viewers what the goblins are all about. There were a lot of punchlines during the initial episode and most of them are B+ comedy. The producers wants to mimic what the other animated series was able to do. As much as possible, they don’t want to create a big noise or buzz on their first episode. Say for instance, Rick and Morty. This show is very popular and well received but right now they are still on hiatus because of the producers not that comfortable with what they have for season 3.
Giant vs Giant Problem
The lovely giants of the game takes part on the new series. These giants might be the funniest and sometimes straight up knuckleheads. For those who weren’t able to watch it, the Giants were advised to attack the town hall, instead, they attack a wall. Yes, a brick wall that doesn’t do anything to them. There’s a segment there where it shows that you can steal some loots, same thing on what is going on in the game. Overall, the two episodes are “decent” and they know they can to better.
