Uncharted 4: Lost Legacy Ends As Part Of Explorer Pack On Dec. 12

Uncharted 4: Lost Legacy made its debut during the PlayStation Experience 2016. During the announcement, Naughty Dog said that although the game was a brand new DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, it is also a standalone DLC which means players can play it even without downloading the whole game. This, however, caused some confusion to Season Pass holders.

After the announcement, Season Pass holders who have the Uncharted 4 Explorer's Pack were quite confused whether The Lost Legacy will be available to them considering it is a standalone game despite being labeled as a DLC.

Naughty Dog immediately clarified the confusion saying that those who bought the Uncharted 4 Explorer's Pack Season Pass will still have access to the Lost Legacy DLC for free during the launch. Now here comes the tricky part: those who have the Explorer's Pack can have the Lost Legacy DLC only until Dec. 12. That's because Sony and Naughty Dog has decided to take the Explorer's Pack and Uncharted 4 Deluxe Edition off the racks starting Dec. 13.

So where does that leave players who have the Explorer's Edition? The only way players can have Uncharted 4 The Lost Legacy after Dec. 13 will be as a standalone game which is available via digital download. Since its Dec. 13 today, those who might have missed the game might have to purchase it now separately.

However, Naughty Dog haven't announced yet how much The Lost Legacy will cost. If the previous DLCs released by Naughty Dogs will be used as a basis, then it will be around $10. For example, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC cost $9.99. However, there are rumors that it might cost much more than that because it is much longer than the Left Behind DLC. So the estimation would be between $9.99 and above.
