NBA Trade Rumors: Stanley Johnson Being Traded By The Pistons? Nerlens Noel Going To Portland Trailblazers?

Stanley Johnson has caught the eyes of many NBA fans when he showed what he can do against the likes of LeBron James of the Cavaliers. He displayed some magic basketball skills even when James and his team swept the Detroit Pistons leading many to expect a lot from him. That is why it is a surprise that many NBA trade rumors are suggesting he is on the Piston's trading block.

Things Are Not Turning Out Well For Johnson

But things seem to be turning not so well with Johnson this current season. He only averages 3.6 points, 0.9 assists and 2.2 rebounds and only 13.4 minutes of play per game. This lackluster performance has led many basketball analysts to predict what some NBA trade rumors now are saying. Johnson may already be ripe for a trade. At 20 years old, he still got lots of potential.

Perhaps, as a sophomore NBA player, he might still be adjusting. He may still improve over the course of the current season. It is for this reason, that the Pistons may still give him a chance. But according to some NBA trade rumors, the Pistons really need to make an honest assessment of what they can expect and what they can do for Johnson.

Noels Is Again At The Center Of Rumors

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers and three of their talented younger big men are in the center of many NBA trade rumors. Once again, Nerlens Noel is included among them. It appears that Noel, Jahlil Okafor and Joel Embiid is on their roster, but they are not being given enough playing time.

Noel is at the center of NBA trade rumors involving the 76ers. It seems that his team is really bent on trading one of its centers. A report from Sports Illustrated seems to bolster this fact when it said that Noel is what the Portland Trail Blazers need at this time. He might be able to take the Blazers to the next level, said SI.
