Resident Evil 7 fans don't have to wait till they can get their hands on it because Steam is offering a free gameplay for a limited time.

As part of its Midweek Madness promo, Steam is offering Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour for free until Thursday, 10 P.M. PST; thus, you have still time to have a taste of the upcoming horror game in case you haven't taken hold of it yet.

The teaser game begins with a prologue where your character is all tied up and someone is trying to cut it. Suddenly, everything went blank and you become unconscious only to wake up on the floor of an unfamiliar place. Your objective is to get out of the house as quick as you can as night slowly falls. There, you will be faced with mysterious puzzles.

This short teaser Resident Evil 7 game might be short but is enough to keep you excited for the full version of the game. It also has the feel of the original Resident Evil games which include dark, claustrophobic corridors. Although there are no puzzles in the teaser game, the dev team behind the game said that it's going to make a comeback in Resident Evil 7.

The gameplay being in first person also added to the whole atmosphere of the game because it added to how you feel and react in the game. The handgun and the controls of the game are also superb. You might take a few minutes to get used to it but after that, it goes smoothly as you navigate through the location.

Aside from the free Resident Evil 7 gameplay, Steam is also giving an 80 percent off on selected Resident Evil titles.

Resident Evil 7 will be released on Jan. 27, 2017 on PS4, Xbox, and PC.
