‘Nioh' News And Updates: New Animated Trailer Released For PlayStation 4

One of the most awaited video games bound for release next year has just been updated with the release of a new trailer. A new teaser for “Nioh” has just been recently revealed featuring the main characters of the upcoming samurai video game. It also talks about the story of the video game.

Koei Tecmo Games has just revealed a couple of the days ago a teaser depicting the story of the video game, “Nioh” as one of its latest updates. It explains the origins of the main playable character named William, who is a Western blonde-haired samurai. Through the said animated video that has been titled “Legend of Nioh”, it divulges William’s journey as a formidable samurai who travelled the seas to go on a series of quests slaying demons and even meeting Tokogawa Ieasu, the patron of Hanzon, who will be a pivotal point person in the storyline of the said game.

The “Legend of Nioh” animated video is expected to be part of an animated series that Koei Tecmo Games will continue to drop prior to the release of “Nioh” to promote the video game as well as to give players an in-depth look at the game’s story and its characters. The said action role-playing game (RPG) will be exclusively available to PlayStation 4. It will be released in North America on Feb. 7, 2017, and will be followed by releases worldwide including Japan on Feb. 8 and 9 next year.

Developed by Team Ninja, the one responsible for the “Dead or Alive” video game series and “Dissidia Final Fantasy”, the game is said to be truly anticipated as it has built up hype when it released two demos earlier this year for players to get a feel of the game. The said game has actually been announced as early as 2004 and was finally put into development when it was confirmed in 2015 at the annual Tokyo Game Show in Japan.
