Rocksteady Developing A Superman Game, Sefton Hill Answers During A Reddit AMA

The Reddit community was in a furor when a supposed designer from Rocksteady with the username TheLeakedPenguin said that the game company was developing a game dedicated to Superman. Rocksteady's Sefton Hill answered all these rumors as well as other questions during a recent Reddit AMA.

When Rocksteady announced that it is done with their Batman: Arkham Knight, many speculations arose whether the team is developing a sequel or another game. Thus, when TheLeadPenguin announced on Reddit that Rocksteady is developing a Superman game and seemed well-informed about it, it attracted a lot of attention.

According to him, Superman will pit him against familiar villains as well as magical creatures. Furthermore, he mentioned that Rocksteady was supposed to announce this during the Video Game Awards but it did not happen.

The supposed Superman game will allow players to play different incarnations of Superman including Superman Cyborg and Nuclear Man. There will also be collectible skins which will determine the strength and ability of the characters.

Now, Rocksteady held a Reddit AMA with creative director Sefton Hill on December 23. One of the issues that were discussed was of course about the game company's plans and next project after Batman. Hill said that the team is definitely hard at work on the new project. He also emphasized that aside from that, they won't be revealing any details of the project. On the other hand, he reassured the community that when they indeed announce further details, they will do it first on Reddit as they want the community to be involved.

With that rather unclear confirmation, many are wondering whether TheLeakedPenguin was really telling the truth or not. There are some doubts about it first but for now, it's good to hear that Rocksteady is creating a new game for its fans and we are looking forward to that.
