Resident Evil 7 Demo Play Reveals Albert Wesker Is Returning To The Game

Resident Evil 7: Beginning Evil demo play is available on Steam. Those who have played the demo play said that there are some clues that a familiar character from previous Resident Evil games might also make an appearance in the upcoming Resident Evil 7. That character is none other than Albert Wesker.

In Resident Evil lore, Albert Wesker was one of the thirteen children used by Lord Spencer in his Project W, which experimented on children believed to have superior DNA and turn them into superhumans. Lord Spencer have high regards for Albert Wesker because of the higher intelligence he displayed in contrast with his 'siblings.'

Going back to the reveal of Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour about Alex's return in the game, dataminers have found some information regarding it. Some of the information in the PC demo that hints of Alex include weapons and rewards that pertain to Alex Wesker. There is also information that reveals Albert as the last boss in the game as well as the rewards and damage counts related tot he character.

With all the information pointing to Albert, there is no doubt that one of the most "beloved" villains of Resident Evil will make a return. This information also leads to more theories as well. One of those Resident Evil theories predict that if Alex is included, then it is possible that other previous Resident Evil characters in the game will also make an appearance in Resident Evil 7.

Another theory supposes that Resident Evil 7 might be a prequel to all Resident Evil lore given the different feel it has than other titles of the game. Also, it seems like it has no other relations to the other previous Resident Evil games.

Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour will roll out on January 27, 2017 on PC, Ps4, and Xbox.
