Overwatch Latest News, Update: Unlock New Sprays, Player Icons, Emotes, Hero Skins In Winter Wonderland Loot Boxes Until Jan. 2

Overwatch developers recently launched free Winter Loot boxes in time for the Winter Wonderland Event. It has been revealed that Overwatch players may receive new sprays and hero skins, among others. It should be noted that the event is slated to wrap up on Jan. 2, 2017 along with the free Winter Loot boxes for a limited time only.

New Emotes, Locked Skins & Player Icons For Limited Time Only

Blizzard Entertainment reportedly added new emotes and player icons to the game along with new sprays and hero skins for the Overwatch players to unlock and collect. Note that the hero skins may be unlocked with the in-game currency similar to the Halloween Terror while the event is going on. Furthermore, Overwatch players may opt to gather loot boxes by leveling up or by purchasing them for real money.

In addition, players may need to earn as many loot boxes as possible simply by playing Overwatch before making actual purchases. Apparently, Overwatch players may need to race to the loot boxes before the Tracer Elf skin of the Zarya gift emote has dropped. Finally, several Winter Loot Boxes are reportedly awaiting Overwatch players upon logging into the Overwatch game portal.

Earn Or Purchase? 100 New Cosmetics Available

In other news, the new Overwatch Loot Boxes are reportedly filled with more than 100 new cosmetic items. Note that players may also opt to purchase the items or level up to earn them. Note that the loot boxes reportedly pack at least one item from the Winter Wonderland 2016 collection.

Overwatch Loot Boxes reportedly packed victory poses and highlight intros as well. Note that players may also opt to unlock various customisation options in the Hero Gallery during the event. In the future, Blizzard may launch new characters, game modes and maps in 2017 especially the new Oasis map.  Watch more about the winter lootboxes here:
