Apparently, Nintendo sent an email to GameStop that said they will send Nintendo Switch merchandising soon. The email also mentioned that that they will make Zelda available on a pre-order basis.

The merchandising will include promotional materials such as flyers, display boxes, posters and stands. It also appears that there is no restriction as to when GameStop can put up the display stands for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild items. Therefore, they can put them up as soon as they receive them. This could mean that the release of the video game could be soon.

Fans of both consoles have been wondering if this video game will be a launch title. Some are speculating that it will be while others don't believe it is. There is no information from the game developer regarding this at this time.

Since it will be on a pre-order arrangement, there are rumors that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be a launch title. But since there is no information coming from Nintendo, this can only be treated as a speculation. Fans will surely know come January when the details of the consoles will be revealed.
