Elite Dangerous Update, News: Next Patch To Give Tribute To Carrie Fisher

Elite Dangerous fans are ecstatic when they heard that the game will be updated to commemorate the late Carrie Fisher. They are fortunate because Frontier Developments are making sure that the fans will never forget the death of Princess Leia.

It seems that Frontier Developments is mourning with the loss of Fisher that it listened to the fans of Elite Dangerous. According to iDigital Times, Michael Brookes, executive producer of the space-tastic game, said that the company is working already with the patch.

The players of Elite Dangerous are overjoyed once they learned that Frontier is working already to bring update 2.3 as soon as possible. However, this is not the first time that the game has done a tribute for Leonard Nimoy last 2015.

As per Just Push Start, the players have to wait for the patch 2.3 to be live on Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous: Horizons. The patch will contain an outpost for the late Fisher that the players can visit once it is established in the game.

Players are assuming that the patch 2.3 will be released anytime soon because update 2.2 on Elite Dangerous has been part of the game for a long time. According to Twinfinite, there is no official announcement from Frontier Developments on when the patch will be finally released.

Elite Dangerous is a space adventure game that is set in a galaxy just like "Star Wars." That is why Frontier Developments wants to include Fisher's memory in the game. The fans are really hoping that the update will come sooner.

The players are just waiting for the patch 2.3 on Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous: Horizons to be finally available. This is a great addition and tribute as longtime fans of Fisher's Princess Leia character from the "Star Wars" franchise will be able to have her memory as part of the game.
