Honda Confirms Return To Super Bowl, New CR-V Ad Coming

The Super Bowl is considered one of the biggest annual events in America. It is also regarded as one of the best opportunities to introduce new products in front of over 100 million audiences. This year, Honda confirms its return to the Super Bowl with a new ad for its CR-V 2017.

Third Time Is The Charm

This is the third time Honda is returning to the Super Bowl. In 2012, Honda starred Matthew Broderick in its CR-V commercial where the actor pretended to be sick in order to get a day off and be able to go to places and do things with his CR-V. Last year, Honda returned to the Super Bowl and introduced its Ridgeline with an advertisement featuring a herd of sheep singing "Somebody to Love" by Queens.

Super Bowl Is The Best Stage For Introduction

The Honda CR-V is considered one of the best sellers in the auto industry at present. Given this and the fact that over 100 million people will be tuning in to the Super Bowl, the event is certainly the best stage of doing its introduction. "The Super Bowl is the appropriate stage to introduce America to the bold and sophisticated new Honda CR-V. With the largest audience reach of any single television event, the Super Bowl is a platform befitting the CR-V's status as the best-selling SUV in America, and the perfect place to celebrate CR-V's 20th anniversary," said Susie Rossick, Assistant Vice President of Honda auto marketing.

The New Ad

Regardless of how Honda will introduce its new CR-V in the 2017 Super Bowl, it will certainly be interesting to see how things will turn out. At present, details regarding what kind of advertisement Honda will pull off are still under wraps. With Honda's announcement of its Super Bowl return, it appears that people are getting more excited to see how the new CR-V will be introduced.
