LG's G5 Successor Already Revealed, G6 Release Date And Specifications Announced

Reports have been told that there is an undeniable decrease in the sales of the LG G5. This is beside the fact that many are impressed with its modular design and excellent specifications. And as LG introduces another smartphone in the market, news are stating that it will not push through to its modular design. Hence, the question: are the consumers not ready to invest in those kinds of technologies?

LG G6 Will Not Be The Same As LG G5, Modular Design Not Pushing Through

LG's Chief Technologist Skott Ahn confirmed in an interview that their all-new LG G6 would not be following the steps of the LG G5 when it comes to its modular design. The decision came out when they noticed a drastic fall in the sales of their currently release smartphones. Sources told that consumers are not yet prepared to invest in modules as it would be a risk in their perspective.

Furthermore, Ahn believed that the result of G5's sales would not directly affect their production of smartphones in the near future. In fact, he quoted that LG is getting ready to come back again in the market soon.

On the other hand, publications told that the LG G6 is first launching in selected places like China, South Korea, Europe and North America before it would be released in different parts of the world. Other than that, the handset attached to the device is expected to be cheaper than the usual as it is ppricedat $650.

Speculations also reiterated that the upcoming LG G6 would be either a metallic rear or tempered glass black in appearance. It also has a 5.6-inch 4K display and 24-megapixel camera perfect for selfies and group pictures.
