ZTE has announced their crowdsourced phone Hawkeye a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, the phone's full specs and features did not come with the announcement. Fortunately, the company has recently revealed the said full specs and they are quite impressive, especially on top of the cool eye-tracking scrolling feature of the said phone.
ZTE Hawkeye Full Specs
As per GSM Arena, the ZTE Hawkeye is a dual-sim enabled device with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD screen that sports a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. That's 401 pixels per inch density right there making it quite competitive for a midrange phone. It also runs Android Nougat from the box so it's pretty much more updated that its competitors. It also sports a generous dual rear cam and 8 MP front cam combo.
As for the ZTE Hawkeye's internals, this phone is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor and it uses an Adreno 506 GPU. It then comes with 3 GB RAM and it has a 32 GB worth of internal storage. You can also expand ZTE Hawkeye's storage through its 256 GB capacity microSD slot. It then comes with a fingerprint sensor and a good 3000 mAh battery.
ZTE Hawkeye Availability And Price
The ZTE Hawkeye is set to be priced at $199.99 and it is expected to be made available in September, as per Android Police. As a whole, this phone seems to be a valid midrange option for people who don't care about expensive premium phones. The ZTE Hawkeye may not have top notch internals like your expensive Samsung phones, but for a small price like that, there's no doubt that this phone is a worthy buy. Note that there are far more low-end smartphones in today's market and most of which have prices comparable to ZTE Hawkeye's. For a $200 phone with a dual-cam and a fingerprint scanner, there really isn't a lot to complain about.
