Tom Clancy's The Division has just released fresh new details for its upcoming third expansion, the Last Stand, and it offers exciting new features including the new PvP and PvE modes that are looking pretty enthralling right off the bat! Here's everything the Division team has given so far:

The Divion: Last Stand's New PvP and PvE Mode

The third installment of the Division offers new contents both PvP and PvE to its fans. What's interesting is that, the developers have finally given what players have all been clamoring for in the past, a dedicated and separate player combat arena. The new PvP mode will be added in the Dark Zone which combines both PvP and PvE aspect but what makes it unique is that, it is more inclined to the PvP aspect of the game as players are now forced to engage with other players in the battlefield.

According to the developers of the Division, the new mode is titled Last Stand and it is a separate player combat arena where it will see players in an 8v8 mode in the Dark Zone. In this game, two separate 4-person teams will have to work together to reach the terminals that are spread out across the entire map. The main objective is to move to three terminals in order to take control of the area, transfer data and capture them. The captured terminals will then become spawn points for players. To make things a lot more interesting, during the latter part of the game, players will have the option to spawn right next to their teammates upon dying in order to get back to the battlefield a lot quicker.

The new PvE mode and content will come upon the release of another Incursion this year. As of the time of this writing, news regarding the upcoming PvE contents are yet to be announced. This article will be updated as soon as the Division team releases new info about the upcoming DLC.
