‘Final Fantasy XV' Guide: Get Choco-Mog Medallions Fast And Rewards You Can Get For Them

Square Enix has finally released the latest patch for "Final Fantasy XV" that updates the said role-playing video game with the awaited Moogle Chocobo Carnival event. The said in-game event has been recently released through an update that introduces a whole celebration solely featuring the favorite and popular characters of the "Final Fantasy" series. Aside from that, the said event houses a variety of stuff for players to try out.

The latest Moogle Chocobo Carnival for "Final Fantasy XV" takes place in Altissia, with the said floating Venice-like city adorned with all the required festive decorations. Cloaked in yellow and pink, Altissia turns into one huge carnival that reveals new food to try out, mini games to spend time on, and simple things like taking photos and some few quests. One of the things that players must maximize during the Moogle Chocobo Carnival event is to obtain Choco-Mog Medallions.

Quickest Ways To Get Choco-Mog Medallions

Choco-Mog Medallions are rewarded to Noctis for taking part in various quests and games in the aforementioned carnival event. The thing about these Choco-Mog Medallions is that they can be exchanged for rare items, ingredients for cooking recipes, crafting materials, and even treasures. There are several ways to gain these Medallions but to get the really good items in exchange for the said Medallions, Noctis need to get as many Medallions as possible in the quickest ways.

Completing the in-event quests and going with the main story of the Moogle Chocobo Carnival will end up Noctis having more than 99 Choco-Mog Medallions. Helping out non-playable characters (NPC) and taking on side quests can give a fair amount of Choco-Mog Medallions. But one of the quickest ways found so far to gain these Medallions is to play the Justice Five arcade game, which gives three to five Medallions in hard mode. The other one is taking on lots of Runaway Chocobo quests, which rewards two medals for every Chocobo chick caught. Spending an hour for each of these mini-games can give Noctis at least 50 Medallions each.

Rewards In Exchange For Choco-Mog Medallions And Vendor Locations

The Choco-Mog Medallions can be exchanged at three vendor stops in Altissia, which are located in Arena Balviano that is just near the port entrance, the one next to the Port Station gondola stop, and at the center of the city that is north of the Square Enix Café. Each vendor exchanges different kinds of items so be sure to take note of this. Noctis can get an exclusive carnival decal for the Regalia called the Choco-Mog for just 30 Medallions.

Make sure to purchase the Lodging Voucher, which costs 50 Medallions since this is a VIP Pass that grants Noctis exclusive access to the luxurious Leveille Suite and a front seat view to the fireworks show. This voucher is actually required to carry out the quest that is related to the carnival's main story. Most of the low-cost items are ones that can be easily acquired while roaming around Lucis or the other continents in "Final Fantasy XV".

Rare ingredients, which are usually obtained through hunting side quests and killing off high-level daemons are also up for grabs. Noctis can also choose from a variety of fishing gears available in exchange for these Medallions that can level up his fishing game. Sadly, during this festive event, none of Noctis' pals come along, even the Chocobo-loving Prompto but Carbuncle is around to keep the royal prince company.
