Logitech Unveils Updated Spotlight Presentation Remote; An Elegant Slide Organizer

The Logitech Spotlight Presentation Remote is the new presentation control, which offers smooth slide navigation and interaction on-screen content up to 100 feet away. The main focus of the Spotlight is to control the slide presentation.

The latest remote is also designed to highlight, magnify content and convey the main message of the presentation. It helps the ordinary presentations by letting the audience engage and understand the presentation.

Farewell Hard-To-See Laser Pointer

The Logitech Spotlight offers new ways to engage with the audience while having a presentation. The previous "wireless presenter" of Logitech only offers up to the 15-meter range while the latest Spotlight can work even at 30.48-meter range.

It features an advanced pointer system, which can highlight points in the slide. It also can magnify points in a pixel detail to convey the main message of the presentation.

The audience can track throughout the presentation because it has a mouse-like cursor, which is visible to the live audience and those on a video conference. It controls the video and magnifies the links even in the darkest auditoriums, unlike to the old pointed laser, which is often unseen and too small.

It can also highlight the important information on a slide through a digital spotlight, unlike the old remote, which it can only point dot-per-dot on the screen. The relevant information can be highlighted via the media button that can be controlled through the presenter's gestures.

Designed To Emphasize

According to the Verge, the Spotlight Remote has a single oversized forward button, back button and media button on top. It has an elegant machined aluminum design and an easy-to-understand interface. It is well-matched with major presentation software like PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi and Google Slides.

The Spotlight is paired with an excellent app, which helps presenter toggle pointer mode and set timed vibration alerts. It also activates more advanced functions include volume control with hand gestures. It supports USB-C and it can be connected to a Windows or Mac, as noted in Beta News.

The Logitech Spotlight Presentation Remote comes with gold and slate colors. It is available for a suggested retail price of $129.99, which is only accessible from Logitech and Apple Store. It will be available worldwide in March.
