But it is not just one but two legends since WWE will be inducting The Rock 'N' Roll Express tag team. The report just came in and even surprised the said wrestling tag team.

CBS Sports has just confirmed with WWE that The Rock 'N' Roll Express wrestling tag team are indeed getting a spot in the Hall of Fame Class of 2017. The said tag team consisted of veteran wrestlers, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, who are now aged 60 and 58, respectively. They were a duo force to reckon with back in the days and they have proven their strength as a tag team in the wrestling industry by gathering countless accomplishments, which included championship titles from various wrestling events.

Morton admitted that he was surprised about the news when he got a phone call from WWE. He further stated that the being placed in the Hall of Fame Class of 2017 felt like a dream come true, getting knocked off their feet. Morton has expressed that it was an honor for him and Gibson to be given such a glorious opportunity. WWE will give the honor of inducting The Rock 'N' Roll Express to the Hall of Fame Class of 2017 before WrestleMania 33, which will take place on April 2 this year in Orlando, Florida.

The Rock 'N' Roll Express was formed in 1983 by Morton and Gibson and they were immediately a fan favorite because of their quick double stunts and metal rock entrance music, not to mention their good looks. During their wrestling career, Gibson and Morton sometimes teamed up with other wrestlers when they cannot appear as a tag team and called the team The New Rock 'N' Roll Express. They have partnered with Ricky Fuji, David Jericho, Brad Armstrong, Marty Jannetty, and their relatives, Todd Morton and Tommy Gibson.
