Ark: Survival Evolved PS4 Update Arrives With Fixes, Improvements

Ark: Survival Evolved has underwent a lot of changes and whatnots in the past few days. That's because developer Studio Wildcard has been on the roll. But hey, it doesn't stop there. A new update has just arrived on Sony's PlayStation 4 with stuff worth looking at.

According to PlayStationLifeStyle, the community manager of Ark: Survival Evolved named Jen made the big reveal via Twitter. The new update (called 1.09) has been unleashed, making its way through the aforementioned gaming console. It includes not only a couple of crash fixes, but also a massive range of improvements. This one here is definitely a savior.

It's worth noting that Ark: Survival Evolved players on PlayStation 4 have been experiencing a lot of issues. The latter basically affected the game's dedicated servers, all of which seem to crash when loaded. Of course, this is just among the few of them. Good thing, though, update 1.09 is the solution.

The aforesaid Ark: Survival Evolved update fixes these crashing issues. As what Jen said, if, for whatever reason, players are still experiencing these exploitations, there's no need to worry. That's because developer Abstraction Games is already investigation this isolated problem.

Apparently, this new Ark: Survival Evolved update doesn't include the improvements meant for draw distances. However, players can expect changes being made (only for the console, that is). Now, it slowly draws (referring to the players' bases) so as to avoid the console from crashing.

Make no mistake, this new update for Ark: Survival Evolved isn't a big one. It doesn't necessarily bring the console version of the game equivalent to that of the PC (version 254). However, owners of Sony's system should ready themselves come February 14, Heart's Day. This is due to the fact the said massive update will arrive on that very day. Simply put, TEK Tier will finally be introduced to the game's console version.
