Nintendo Switch is a few weeks away from its launch and while it appears that the console won't bring in a massive list of titles, you'll get something nice upon its arrival. As per recent news, the company promises a free preview of Splatoon 2 starting March 24 up to March 26. Although the game won't officially be arriving until summer, Nintendo will offer a test play session for a short period of time.

As per Nintendo's YouTube post, the Splatoon 2 demo will be similar to what is being played at the Nintendo Switch Tour. There will be four main weapons and there will also be remixed versions of the Splat Roller and Splat Charger. Moreover, according to Engadget, Splatoon 2 will introduce the LAN Play mode that will allow docked players to square off offline. There will also be a Private Battle Spectator View that will let two people watch a private game from multiple angles.

Nintendo Switch Release Date

The Nintendo Switch will enter the stores on March 3. That's practically two weeks from now so the waiting game is almost over. As for the availability concerns, take note that Nintendo has prepared for the launch with two million console units just for the first month. Global release is also expected for the said console. As for the price, the Nintendo Switch will be carrying a $299.99 price tag.

So far, things are looking good for Nintendo. Hopefully, the Switch will be able to live up to its hype. See the company posted video for more details.
