NieR: Automata Unveils New Open World Gameplay Trailer

Square Enix's upcoming RPG game NieR: Automata made gamers intrigued regarding the title's overall gameplay. Apparently, a PlayStation Underground video footage has been released recently showcasing the game's open-world theme.

According to the report from Game Rant, NieR: Automata is a type of game that is as eccentric as its developers. However, both hold a bit of oddball charm that is more appealing than disconcerting. Apparently, it all started with a quiet announcement during an event that redirects all the hype towards Final Fantasy XV. But the game has quickly become the sleeper hit of 2017 as NieR: Automata impressed fans regarding the visuals and gameplay aspects for several months.

Meanwhile, it is clear that NieR: Automata is the successor of the past NieR installment. The upcoming title also presents fascinating, post-apocalyptic visuals. Platinum Games and Square Enix polished the game's combat, which most of the fans believed to be the demise of the original NieR.

Based on the report from VG247, the video features Android 2B exploring a post-apocalyptic area and battling with several other robots as she journeys alongside her other android friends. The game looks fascinating despite featuring a monotonous setting. Meanwhile, players can get a glimpse at what the world looks like outside the androids, which includes a group of humans that have formed an opposition inside a ramshackle city. '

Overall, whether or not fans start their 2017 excited regarding the future release of NieR: Automata, the video produced by PlayStation Underground was decent enough to hint fans about the game's content. NieR: Automata will be available in North America on March 7, 2017, for PlayStation 4. Meanwhile, PC release will be scheduled around this year.
