"Quantico" Season 2 episode 12 titled "Fallenoracle" revealed a traitor that no one expected. There's going to be one more episode before the series shifts to a single timeline, and the latest episode kicks off right after last week, where Alex, Ryan, Harry and the rest of the CIA newbies lead everyone out of the building where they were held hostage.

Spoiler Alert: Carly Has Been Working For AIC All Along

According to Vulture, the episode showed three intertwined storylines, all running in different directions. There definitely was chaos, but amid the crisis, a traitor was revealed. Sebastian attempted to save Harry's life, but then, a real shocker happened. Carly reveals that she'd been working for the AIC all along.

It was a jaw-dropping moment, but EP Josh Safran answered questions about Carly and her betrayal. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Safran confirmed that Carly is indeed a member of the AIC. But is she really dead? Safran said, "Dead is dead on 'Quantico'."

When asked why "Quantico" decided to reveal Carly's affiliation, Safran said that Carly has always been a plant. Sebastian was looking for a safety net so he does not have to look at himself, and Carly gave him that. "We see that he was given her in episode 9 as a mark at the wedding. Whoever gave him her, that was the plan between Carly and that person so she could get close to Sebastian to make sure that the CIA was never on to them."

So what can fans expect in "Quantico" next week? Safran said that for episode 13, everything will wrap up. He hinted to look out for the last two words of the episode, because these last two words are very important.
