These Romantic Bonuses Are What Ark: Survival Evolved Dinos Need

In Ark: Survival Evolved, Dinos play the biggest role. Or at least, are part of it. Either way, it involves the process of breeding. While it can present good results, the process it requires can be a little bit tiring. Well, not for now -- the current Valentine's Day event will give it a tad boost. And indeed, it's quite remarkable.

According to PCGamer, all Ark: Survival Evolved servers are part of this breeding boost. However, the so-called command line parameter "-vday" must be utilized. And once done, every player can expect the romantic bonuses developer Studio Wildcard has installed for them.

These aforementioned Ark: Survival Evolved bonuses include the Mate Boosted range, which has been increased by at least twice. As for both the Mating Speed and Mating Recovery, these have been boosted by 3X. For players who are fond of maturing and/or incubating, the studio has increased by three times the original speed of Creature Maturing and Egg Incubation.

But of course, the fun in Ark: Survival Evolved Valentine's Day event doesn't stop there. That's because Baby Food Consumption has been substantially decreased, making it easier for players to look after their respective creatures. The said consumption has been decreased to 1/3 of the original rate.

Ark: Survival Evolved players are also treated to a good range of chocolate boxes. This is thanks to the video game company increasing the drop rate of these items. It's worth noting that these can be consumed so as to fully heal. It can also be used to upgrade a Dino's taming bar by halfway. Indeed, the studio has made this very particular event for the enjoyment of the community.

For players at Steam, be sure to restart the client once the Ark: Survival Evolved update has been downloaded. There are players who've reported picking up chocolates but aren't able to see or acquire them in their inventories. So, be sure to keep this in mind.
