The newest iteration of the fighting video game, Injustice welcomes the addition of three iconic female characters in the DC comics: Catwoman, Cheetah and Poison Ivy. Injustice 2 New Playable Characters: Catwoman, Cheetah and Poison Ivy

In the newest teaser trailer of Injustice 2, it reveals the three new playable characters coming to the game: Catwoman, Cheetah and Poison Ivy. As shown in the video down below, all of the female characters have displayed an array of new abilities that can potentially create more havoc and thrill in the game. Here are some highlights from the given trailer:

Catwoman

Catwoman appears to come with her iconic "whip" which is highlighted in the teaser trailer. This weapon can potentially make her a mid to long-range threat. For those that love to keep their distance off of their opponents as they chip away their health, this character may suit anyone's taste.

Cheetah

Cheetah is seen beating her enemy with agile mobility and accurate kicks. Albeit brief, the trailer provides players a glimpse of how she'll become a threat on the battlefield. It appears that the feline character uses a burst of speed to catch their opponent off-guard and further uses its claws as she shreds them apart - truly an epitome of the fastest mammal on Earth.

Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy is shown highlighting its enthralling super move and flurry of combo attacks. Outside of that, the character much like the new ones, provides a new flavor into the table. It's interesting how these girls will par against the old characters competitively. Injustice 2 is slated to be released on May 16, 2017, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android and iOS platforms.
