Pokemon GO Update: Legendary Pokemon Found In Game

'Pokemon GO' continues to soar high, as the mobile game welcomes the Generation 2 Pokemon. Over 75 new monsters to catch have been added to the game. Trainers just can't stop until they catch 'em all. With that said, a lot of people are also hoping to have a chance to catch a legendary Pokemon.

Pokemon Go Update: Legendaries Are Already In-Game

Fans may not need to wait longer. Players who have been following a lot of Pokemon updates can remember that during the recent San Diego Comic-Con Panel, Niantic teased the players that Legendaries are very much coming into the game. Eurogamer reports that they have been teased to come out in the game in some form, and the developers have also given us clues, but up to this day, there is no concrete proof yet.

On the other hand, Youtuber NesstendoYT found some interesting while looking into the game files. The fan has discovered files of legendary Pokemon listed inside the game. These legendaries include: Mew, Mewtwo, Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos, inside 'Pokemon GO.'

The data mine also found Gen 2 Legendaries such as Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Ho-Oh, Lugia and Celebi listed in the game. Their stats were shown side by side with the legendary birds, and of course Mew and Mewtwo. Legendaries like Mewtwo and Ho-Oh have the highest base attacks in the game, even powerful than Dragonite and Alakazam.

On the data mine, it also shows that these Pokemon have no capture rates. It means that they will be captured differently than normal Pokemon.

Pokemon GO Update: No Release Yet

There have been reports that Niantic will be releasing the legendaries next month. However, Birmingham mail says there is still no official update from Niantic about the legendary Pokemon release.

'Pokemon GO' can be downloaded now on any IOS and Android devices, worldwide.
