Rapper and Yeezy designer, Kanye West, has been noted as one of Hollywood's most straight-forward, perfectionist and self-aggrandizing icons. Traits he again showed in the filming of the movie "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues".

Kanye West To Star For A Cameo Appearance In 'Anchorman 2'

Kanye has been asked to play the role of Wesley Jackson who works as an MTV VJ and was given a short speaking role of not more than twenty six seconds in Will Ferrell's franchise. The second franchise is a sequel to the 2003 American comedy film, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

West Caused A Major Delay In The Filming Of Anchorman 2 Due To The Rapper's Issue With His Jacket

Judd Apatow, the film's producer, opened up regarding the incident during a charity standup performance about HBO's new series 'Crashing.' According to Judd, Kanye showed up to the set of Anchorman 2 to play the role of an MTV VJ and was asked to wear a red Michael Jackson jacket.
"Kanye says there's a problem with his costume", Apatow stated. She then added that Kanye stated that the red jacket seems to be a "first-instict" idea.
According to Judd, Kanye had a plan in mind on what he is supposed to wear during his cameo appearance. The rapper designer even asked the team to "go on Google" to search for a thousand images. However, after two hours of waiting and searching, West came out of his trailer wearing the same jacket they initially picked and stated that the jacket's fine.

Judd Apatow Did Not Consider Kanye West As A 'Diva' Despite The Incident

During the interview, the well-acclaimed producer admitted that she did not get furious nor considered Kanye a "diva" despite the two hour delay for she believed that Kanye was actually right about the jacket being a "first-instinct" choice.
