Capcom's newest game, "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard", was hailed as the best top-selling game in the US in January. This was really a big moment for Capcom as the last game that it had released that had the same success was "Resident Evil 5" which came out way back in 2009.

Since then, its consequent game titles were not that much of a hit, due to the number of competitors in the market that offers a more positive type of gameplay. Through the years, the whole idea of a horror-themed video game declined in popularity.

According to Christian Post, the upcoming DLC of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will see to it that it will still continue to stay on top of the charts. Hopefully, it can. Based on what the gaming community sees in the latest game, everything is going smoothly.

On top of this all, despite it being the seventh game in the "Resident Evil" franchise, it still managed to make the game popular, as it continues to stick to the essence and original nature of the game.
