Infinity Ward Releases New CoD: Infinite Warfare Update; Improves Combat Record And Lobby Party Indicator

Infinity Ward has just released the latest updates for its latest game, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare". The shooter game was released in Nov. 2016, and since then, has been subject of much of the critics' scrutiny due to its unorthodox outer space theme.

Updates To Improve The Game

In order to improve the game's reputation and save the franchise from eternal doom, Infinity Ward has sent in a barrage of various updates to fix the problems that made the game an unpopular one, compared to previous Call of Duty games. The latest CoD: Infinite Warfare update was released on Feb. 14, enabling PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players to download the 2.5 GB update. The update was titled as 1.09.

According to Dexerto, updates were made for the CoD Caster and CWL mode. This enables players to change the time in selecting the rig draft before the map starts out.

Efforts To Clean Its Name

Along with these main updates, are the many bug fixes that clear up the game's gameplay. With the help of these, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" would still have the chance to regain the glory that its predecessors had experienced.

The update comes a few days after the conclusion of the recently held MLG' CWL Atlanta. According to Nuke the Fridge, the ESWC's CWL Paris event will take place on Feb. 17.

Infinity Ward might have strategically released the new Call of Duty updates so that players from around the world will be able to notice the changes in the gameplay in the two big gaming events. Whichever the case is, it is pretty obvious that Infinity Ward wants to improve the game's reputation, in hopes of securing the future of the game franchise.

Recent reports suggest that the next Call of Duty game will go back to its original setting. Hopefully, this next game will be enough to bring back the glory of the Call of Duty game franchise.
