2018 Buick Enclave Set To Receive A Big Facelift

The 2018 Buick Enclave is set to make an appearance at the 2017 New York Auto Show and it has also been scheduled to arrive with a major facelift. Spy shots of the 2018 Buick Enclave have recently been taken and the small amount of camouflage suggests that the modifications are almost done.

2018 Buick Enclave: Expected Appearance

According to report, the 2018 model for the Buick Enclave is expected to have a more muscular and sleeker body than the outgoing model. It was mentioned that the exterior features the automaker's new signature style that drops the first generation's seemingly round appearance. Apparently, the 2018 Buick Enlcave will look more like the Avenir concept sedan that made its debut before.

2018 Buick Enclave: What The Spy Shots Suggest

According to report, the front section of the 2018 Buick Enclave not only takes a few designs from the Avenir as it also has a few elements from the Avista. It is also worth noting that the 2018 Buick Enclave is sporting new headlamps that have a sleeker appearance.

The same report also stated that the 2018 Buick Enclave has two chrome wings that can be found on each side of the tri-shield badge, which is situated on the Enclave's darkened waterfall grille. The rear section also sports sharper-looking taillights that have a winged appearance, which is considered an improvement over the outgoing model's round tail lamps.

2018 Buick Enclave: Other Details

Reports stated that the 2018 Buick Enclave will also make use of the C1XX platform that was also used by the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse. It was also mentioned that the 2018 Buick Enclave will most likely use a V6 engine along with a turbocharged four-cylinder unit like the 2018 Traverse. The 2017 New York Auto Show is set to take place in April. Given this fact, those that are looking forward to the 2018 Buick Enclave will simply have to wait until its debut to find out more.
