'Halo 6' To Feature Split-Screen Multiplayer, Microsoft Learns From 'Halo 5: Guardians' Mistake

"Halo 6" is reported to be featuring once again the split-screen multiplayer kind of gameplay as it wishes to learn from the criticisms of its previous games. The split-screen multiplayer feature was not present in "Halo 5: Guardians", making the game not a well-receive one by fans.

Learning From The Mistakes

Because of this, the game developer considered its importance and decides to bring it back to the upcoming "Halo 6". This confirmation was first unveiled during the DICE 2017 conference.

Now, Microsoft will do the best of what it can to not let the mistakes of the previous game once again resurface in "Halo 6". According to IBTimes, Microsoft's acquisition of the "Halo" game franchise from Bungie was a big challenge, as they had to learn things the hard way.

Another experience which has helped Microsoft to realize it needs some serious tweaking in the game is when "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" was also not popularly successful. It can be remembered that Frank O'Connor, the franchise director of the game, says that adding a split-screen multiplayer patch to "Halo 5" was impossible.

DICE Ensures A Better Multiplayer Gameplay

This is the reason why they will do their very best to make up for that disappointment in "Halo 6". According to Ars Technica, Phil Spencer, an Xbox boss, has confirmed that "Halo 6" will not be released this year.

This is due to the fact that the previous game is still very young, knowing that it still haven't reached two years in the market. What DICE needs to be doing now is to ensure that a multiplayer gameplay will be the focus of the upcoming game sequel.

Surely, players from all around the globe will wait for the release of "Halo 6" in a very hyped up and thrilled fashion. The odds are in favor of a big success for "Halo 6".
