Almost all NBA 2K17 players know and understand the excellence that Rip Hamilton offered to the league. During his prime (in early 2000), he was among the reasons the Pistons became a lethal team. Heck, he even helped the guys win an NBA Championship back in 2004. Apart from his impeccable shooting ability, this guy is also best known for wearing a mask. For fans of the game -- especially the ones from Motown -- are craving to know the secret to playing Hamilton in the game. Well, there are 2 ways to do it.

How To Play As Rip Hamilton Of The Detroit Pistons (2004) In NBA 2K17

According to Mic, the Detroit Pistons of 2004 are among the playable classic teams in NBA 2K17. The boys include the greats that are Chauncey Billups, Ben Wallace, Tayshaun Prince and Rasheed Wallace. Adding Hamilton, the five players became the one of most formidable starting five in their tenure. In the game, the team is played in three departments -- namely, MyGM, Play Now and MyLEAGUE.

Playing Rip Hamilton In NBA 2K17 MyTeam Mode

Contrary to popular belief, Rip Hamilton can actually be played in one of the modes of NBA 2K17. This is no other than the MyTEAM Squad. Apparently, players need to remember that there is a total of 3 versions of the said player in the mode. Among these, the best one so far is the Amethyst version. The latter, in one way or another, is being rated at a 92 overall.

The aforementioned Rip version in NBA 2K17 offers a total of 6 bronze badges. These come with a rating that ranges from 94 all the way to 95. It should be noted that the aforesaid rating only applies to the player's shooting abilities (mid-range, in particular). But hey, he's 3-point shooting skill isn't something that should be taken for granted. Why? That's because it's sitting pretty well at 90. This figure obviously can still prove to be lethal from the downtown area.

As mentioned, Hamilton in NBA 2K17 comes in three versions. The other two are around 88 and 84. While they may differ a bit, they also have similar things in common. For instance, their strengths are significantly the same. The only catch, though, it affects the game's ability to control it. As for the legendary superstar's cards, apparently, they may not be as coveted as the ones from the popular NBA players. They're more about the flashy 2-guards in 2K Games' titular basketball simulation title. But take note, as proven by his stats, he can easily get them from the outside.

In related NBA 2K17 news, the latest Trade Deadline roster updates have been rolled by the studio. As reported by Operations Sports, the video game company released it just recently. It's meant for the game to parallel the roster in real-life. Of course, the most famous one among these trades is from DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins. The former Sacramento Kings player has been traded to Anthony Davis' New Orleans Pelicans.
