Final Fantasy XV has gotten yet another timed quest, which gives players a hefty amount of rewards if they manage to complete it. Here's where to find the monsters and how to kill it in order to complete the quest.

Final Fantasy XV Timed Quest Now Active

According to GearNuke, Square Enix has added a new quest to the latest installment of the Final Fantasy franchise that involves fighting against two powerful monsters. This time, players will have to face off against a Malboro and Maldoboom, which can cause players some trouble if they fight them unprepared.

To begin with, players must have already completed Chapter 11 with the area being near Cape Coem. In order to find the exact location, players must go to the main menu and check the Timed Quest section. IBTimes reports that the marker is by Leirity Season with players having to go through a path of trees until they finally reach the shoreline.

Dealing With The Various Monsters

There, Noctis and his friends will have to engage again two Maldobooms and Malboros each. This is a tricky fight as they can easily infect the party with various status effects if they do not have the Ribbon accessory. The said item can negate all kinds of ailments so it is worth looking into before confronting the four monsters.

On the other hand, if players have managed to get their level above 99, it should be easy enough to dispose of the enemies. Furthermore, ice attacks will be extremely effective in this fight so it is best to stock up on powerful magic. Once completed, players will be rewarded with a whopping 15,000 ECP, 500,000 gil, 500 AP and five Oracle Ascension Coins.

The quest officially began on March 7 and will run until March 14 so fans should make the most out of the event before it ends. Fans can play Final Fantasy XV on the PS4 and Xbox One.
