'Scream Queens' Close To Being Canceled; Emma Roberts Joins Other Cast Who Already Flee The Horror Series?

"Scream Queens" might face the horror of getting canceled as early as now as most of its stars are already moving on to do their individual projects. Just recently, headlines revealed that Emma Roberts who portray the main character Chanel Oberlin in "Scream Queens" may not be coming back to reprise the said role as she is busy doing movies.

The rumors started to swirl around when Emma Roberts posted via her Instagram account that she has a load of projects currently served on her plate. Her signature blonde hair that the "Scream Queens" fancied for two seasons is already covered up with a darker tone which she said in the post is needed for her next movie. This has then made followers more believe that she is indeed moving on from the Fox series.

The 26-year-old American actress is reportedly filming several projects this year. Roberts will play a role in the movies "Billionaire Boys Club," "Spinning Man," and "Four Seasons." Also, there are more movies lined up in her schedule including a yet to be titled project which is based from the 2015 film, "In a Relationship."

With the bulk of project that Emma Roberts have to accomplish this year plus the recent reports that the future of "Scream Queens" is not yet sure, it has then been easy for fans to assume that Chanel Oberlin is not coming back should Fox renew the T.V. series. A worse speculation states that "Scream Queens" might not get a renewal again since its lead stars Emma Roberts and Lea Michele already left the show.

Earlier this month, Lea Michele who plays Hester Ulrich was confirmed to leave her "Scream Queens" family to do another T.V. series. It is being speculated that the ratings of the show led the two actresses to hop on to their own directions without waiting for the verdict of Fox on the renewal of "Scream Queens."

Despite the countless reports of "Scream Queens" being canceled, some fans still hold on to the statement of Garry Newman Madden about Fox considering to pick up the series for its third season. Emma Roberts is still keeping mum about the rumors but she surely has not yet hinted on totally leaving "Scream Queens."
