The latest chapter of “Fairy Tail” has just been released and with how great the new chapter looks, it seems like Hiro Mashima is back to concentrating on the manga. This chapter focuses on Acnologia’s return and how Jellal rescues the others from his attack. Bob of Blue Pegasus also comes back in this chapter.
Acnologia Attacks; Jellal Retaliates
“Fairy Tail” Chapter 528 finally focuses on Acnologia, the Evil Dragon’s return and revealed just how strong he is. He was making fun of a corpse and Erza stands up to him, telling him to stop insulting the dead. Acnologia realizes then that Wendy, who was standing next to Erza, is a dragon slayer so he attacks both of them. Jellal shows up and shields everyone from the attack in the nick of time.
This time Acnologia and Jellal get into a fight with the latter unleashing all of his powerful attacks. Unfortunately, just like what Wendy told them earlier, Acnologia possessed powerful magic, way bigger than any of theirs and she could feel it. Jellal’s attacks were clearly useless against Acnologia, coming out unscathed because as it turned out there is no magic effective against him.
Anna Heartfilia Returns?
As revealed in “Fairy Tail” Chapter 528, Acnologia was clearly way too strong for Erza, Wendy, or Jellal to take on. Despite Erza's plea, Wendy decided to unleash her powers as a dragon slayer to fight Acnologia in his dragon form even though her body can’t handle it. However, a patched up Christina shows up just in time to parry Acnologia’s attack.
Bob emerges from Christina and tells the three to hop on board, saving them from a devastating attack. There on, Bob revealed that they hold the key that would lead to Acnologia’s defeat. Before the chapter ended, a mysterious woman was teased, revealing only her hair and outfit and by the looks of her, she could be Anna, who has gone missing from the previous chapters, in a new look or it could be another Heartfilia from the past, who knows Acnologia’s weakness. Fans are speculating that since magic is ineffective against Acnologia, he can only be put down with curses just like Natsu and that this mysterious character, knows just which curse to defeat him.
