The "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff series, "Mayans MC," has signed the third female lead to join the cast. Actress Andrea Londo will play an important role in the life of the main character, EZ Reyes, and as many fans already guessed, a love triangle is starting to brew as early as now.
Andrea Londo, who was also signed to play a recurring role in Netflix's "Narcos" season 3, has recently been signed to join the lead characters of "Sons of Anarchy: Mayans MC." She is set to play a role opposite JD Pardo's EZ Reyes who serves as the main character in the spinoff series.
The up-and-coming actress will take the character Carnalita who was revealed to share the same insights as EZ. Reports say that Carnalita grew up with a pain in her heart as she watched how her family died in the hands of the Galindo cartel. She reportedly developed into a "street-wise and driven" woman who now protects the orphaned children due to the violence of the drug market.
As fans already know, EZ Reyes was also described to hold a grudge against the same cartel who prevented him to have achieved his dreams. The initial overview for "Sons of Anarchy: Mayans MC" also states that EZ will go against the cartel while trying to maintain the respect and love for him of the women dear to him. Does this include Carnalita?
Speculations have it that EZ will be drawn closer to Carnalita who has the same goals as him. Also because of the original love of his life, Emily, left him to marry into money, EZ might be seen nursing his broken heart through Carnalita. Some other theories suggest a love triangle between these three characters as Emily and EZ used to share a love which started when they were still children.
Irish actress Sarah Bolger was previously signed to play as Emily. Another woman in the life of EZ Reyes will be portrayed by Jaqueline Obradors. She will be one of the female leads as she will be the mother of EZ, Marisol, and the wife of Edward James Olmos' Felipe.
The "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff series, "Mayans MC," is set in the aftermath of Jax Teller's death. It will place its focus on Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes who becomes a prospect in the Mayans MC California-Mexico border charter. The production will start filming scenes in April in Los Angeles and its official release is yet to be announced.
